Theodosia is an avid guest lecturer at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, USC Thornton School of Music, and Oberlin Conservatory, where she gives master classes for the USC Oboe Studio under the direction of Dr. Joel Timm, Marion Kuszyk, and Allan Vogel, the UCLA Oboe Studio of Dr. Jonathan Davis, UCLA Orchestras with Neal Stulberg, and Oberlin Oboe Studio of Robert Walters on the topics of Vocology for Oboists, New Music for Oboe, and Career Advising. Theodosia is also a frequent guest lecturer for in USC Musicology including in the courses of Dr. Scott Spencer and Dr. Nate Sloan, where she has lectured on Ancient & Byzantine Music, Contemporary Music, and her own work as a Composer/Performer. Theodosia teaches private lessons in oboe, voice, composition, improvisation, and piano. Additionally, Theodosia has fourteen years of experience in Academic Tutoring for ages 4 and up in English Language Arts, Spanish, Mathematics, and Biology up through AP level, and specializes in writing the perfect College Essay. Her background in comparative literature, the neuroscience of music, and improvised experimental music give her a unique approach to the science and art of learning. Theodosia teaches each student according to their learning style and personality. Theodosia is passionate about empowering students to be self-sufficient artists and creative thinkers armed with healthy technique, practice strategies, and a sense of fun!
